Sound options – HIIT Stopwatch

HIIT comes with a lot of sound options that allow you to focus on your workouts without having to constantly glance at your device’s screen.

Change beep or Exercise beep

The exercise change beep is a beep sound that is played anytime a new exercise plan part begins.

To set an exercise beep:

Change vibration or Exercise vibration

The exercise change vibration setting when turned on vibrates your device anytime a new exercise plan part begins. Vibrations are only available on the iPhone.

To turn vibration on or off:

  • Press the settings gear icon on the main screen to enter settings.
  • Select the first tab with the settings gear icon.
  • Tap the change vibration or exercise vibration option.
  • Tap the on or off option to select it.
  • Press the back arrow icon (on the top left of the screen) to return.

Continuous Beep

Continuous beeps are played throughout an exercise.

To set a continuous beep:

  • Select the first tab with the settings gear icon.
  • Tap the continuous beep option.
  • Scroll the list of sounds available and tap on any of them to select one.

3 Second Beep

3 Second beeps countdown the final 3 seconds of an exercise. An exercise must be at least 3 seconds long for a 3 second beep to play.

To set a 3 second beep:

  • Press the settings gear icon on the main screen to enter settings.
  • Select the first tab with the settings gear icon.
  • Tap the 3 second beep option.
  • Scroll the list of sounds available and tap on any of them to select one.
  • Press the back arrow icon (on the top left of the screen) to return.
  • Press the check mark icon (on the top left of the screen) to return.

Halfway Beep

Halfway beeps announce the mid-point of an exercise. An exercise must be at least 20 seconds long for a halfway beep to play. For exercises shorter than 20 seconds a halfway beep doesn’t really make much sense and if you need a beep to know when an exercise is about to end set a 3 second beep.

To set a halfway beep:

  • Press the settings gear icon on the main screen to enter settings.
  • Select the first tab with the settings gear icon.
  • Tap the halfway beep option.
  • Scroll the list of sounds available and tap on any of them to select one.
  • Press the back arrow icon (on the top left of the screen) to return.
  • Press the check mark icon (on the top left of the screen) to return.
  • Your beep is now set.
